( she's eighty lbs five ft tall and twelve yrs old, her wrists are 1.5 in wide and her veins ALWAYS stick way out compared to her sister's her sisters fatter than her but in a good way ppl say she's underweight she usually takes in from 400- 600 cals a day at most 700) I have to know when she goes to the doctors so HELP!!! her legs are bonier than all of her peers who eat right she eats healthy but too little im worried she does cross country (running 2.3 miles she comes in first or second of evryone in middle school) and is an awesome striker in soccer she gets well more than an hr of exercise each day

What is wrong w/ my friend?

Ok so my friends and I all got together the other day and we were sitting in the living room chatting, and one of my friends kept doing this thing where he would start like huffing and puffing, or like deep breathing or something, you know when you get excited or overwhelmed or something and you start breathing deeply, yah so he was doing that and he would hold his hands up and like squeeze his hands together and stuff then, after like a minute or so, he'd stop. My friends and I just acted like we didn't notice so that he wouldn't feel all weird. What on earth is making him do that? It almost seems like he's nervous or excited or something, but he's not, it's just this thing he always does. Is it just like a bad habit, like how some people twitch their nose, some jerk their head, and some crack their knuckles??

5 month old projectile vomiting after every feeding ?

My daughter is almost 5 months and has been projectile vomiting after every feeding. She was born preemie and I was told it would stop around 1 to 2 months. I've noticed as she gets older its gets worse. She'll also spit up/ throw up several times after feedings and this can last up to 2 hours after she eats and she'll vomit bad at least one to three times. We tried one acid reflux medication and it slightly worked but gave her a stomach ache and just made it take longer to throw up. After that the doctor had us get a upper gi series done but couldn't find anything. We've tried switching to soy and that still didn't work. She'll sometimes act like its bothering her but other times she'll act fine. But as she gets older its becoming worse. No one has any clue or idea what could be going on, including the doctors.

What will happen if (brakes)?

I have an ongoing problem where my driver's side caliper (the piston) is being pushed out but not releasing or going back in. In other words, I am fighting a constant BRAKE when driving. I've bought a new caliper, changed the front calipers and pads, and still have the same problem! My brake light (warning light on dash) is still on, so obviously something is causing this. Also, since the caliper is OUT, I'm losing a lot of fluid everyday. Unfortunately, I don't have the money to play any more trial and error, and I can't take it to a shop anytime soon. It's an 96 Olds Delta 88. Some of the regulars may remember me on this one, cuz I asked several questions, and tried EVERYTHING. So, what I plan to do is, use a clamp, and clamp that side's line off, and push the caliper back in. I'm uming that this will shut that side down, and I can then rely on the 'good' brakes I do have, and won't be losing fluid, or fighting a brake (which is noisy and costing a lot of gas). This may sound strange to some...but this is what I have to do, considering my financial situation. Will this work as a temporary fix for me??

When reading a music sheet, how do I know what octave to play a note in for a guitar?

You could definitely get some fieldwork type jobs. I myself have a degree in Wildlife Ecology and have done some amazing internships working with the USFWS Condor Recovery Program and the Threatened/Endangered Species program on Fire Island with the Park Service. In fact, I'm leaving in a week for Canada to work with the E. Loggerhead Shrike recovery program. Anyway, other people I've worked with have had similar type backgrounds, ranging from veterinary science to biology to even geography. I would think that pretty much any job you can get with zoology, you could get with wildlife management. The key lies in your experience and enthusiasm.

I haven't fired the G33 but have experience with other brands in that caliber. The .357 is not my favorite round. While it has high muzzle velocity I just don't like it for self defense. You are better off with th .40 or a .45 for that purpose. (A good friend of mine has a G27. I like that round a lot, at least over the .357. I have a G20 and G29. I prefer the 10mm for high expansion coupled with the high velocity.

Shake the items every day when you make the beds. Once in a while you can hang them outside on a nice sunny day to get a good airing. Pillow protectors are great, just make sure that you wash them regularly and that you allow the pillows to get a good airing regularly. Pain in my left hand, what can it be?

Just out of know where a few days ago on the top of my left hand, mainly around my pinkie and ring finger bones I developed a pain. At first the sensation was a little numb and felt like my knuckles or hand just needed to popped for relief but nothing would happen. So the pain got worse and now the pain really hurts now when I gently squeeze my hand or mage the top of my left hand between the bones of my ring and pinkie finger below the knuckle area. What can this pain be? It also hurts when I grab my car door to open it, or just any door handles really. I've iced it for a couple of days, and also i've used icey hot and wrapped my hand when I go to bed.

Generally, they prefer you don't do that and I really suggest you don't either. You could take the summer courses they are offering you but summer courses are harder than regular courses. They are condensing an entire semester into a few weeks and you REALLY have to be on top of your game. I suggest that you wait it out until the Fall to get a real feel for cles. You could always take summer courses the summer after Freshman year.

1994 S10 transmission problem?

I have a 1994 s10 short box regular cab with the 4.3l 4x4. We recently moved from MT to OR roughly 800-900 miles and the truck was towed with a car hauler(front wheels). After unpacking and driving the truck I noticed the shifting issue. The truck chugs like its missing on one cylinder (plugs wires rotor cap are good)(all gauges read normal)(no warning lights). The clutch is very heavy...i have a stage 2 in my audi and this is way harder(you have to press yourself into the seat to engage it. Now onto shifting: First gear works fine, Second gear works fine, Third gear works but grinds unless you let the rpms drop to idle, Forth gear doesn't work(after the move) you can drop it into gear but as soon as you let the clutch out it jumps out of gear, Fifth gear works fine. I've been checking the forums and haven't found an answer. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

I need help with my life?

My whole life has been depressing and never ending suffering. I am now 19 years old. Heres my life...Parents always drunk and fighting when I was a kid before and during school k-12. I was always the one left out and made fun of in school. I was sent to a school in 9th grade for bad behavior cuz i was skipping cl and was beat up almost every day by other kids for half a year and i fought back twice but got in trouble and the cops said if i did i fought one more time i would go to juvenile hall so i just took the pain everyday for half a year. I than went back to regular high school and I finally met a girl who made me happy for the first time in my life and was with her for a year....come to find out she had cheated on me almost the hole time and never loved me and than she left me for another guy....i was heart broken...that was when I was 17....4 months later I loose my best friend who I had for 8 years because of a car accident he got hurt in the car accident very bad and i didnt so he never talked to me again even though it was just an accident cuz i fell asleep at the wheel no drugs or alchol involved...a week later my dog died and I held him when he did...I had had him since I was 5 that was hearbreaking. Than I turn 18 in september and in december my mom died of a drug overdose 4 months after my dog died....she had been doing pills for 4 years and was a zombie and alcholic everyday i couldnt even talk to her...my dad didnt do pills but was an alcholic too....it was heartbreaking....than in april of this year I meet a beautiful girl who was the sweetest ever to me and i thought she was perfect and possibly the one....we talked about getting married and she even talked to me about what to name our kids and told me she loved me everyday and wanted to marry me and called me all the time....than I find out 6 months later...today...that she had been ******* another guy...she told me she loved him and that she never loved me and that she might be pregnant with his kid....she didnt even care how hurt i was....this happened TODAY....i was lied to the whole time.....now here i am more depressed than ever and shes ******* another guy happy as ever....this is the secnd time this has happened to me with my second true girlfriend.....this life i cant take anymore, i just give up, and i dont care anymore, from being torn down all my life i just have no emotions left inside of me. I have come so close to death a few times in car accidents and motorcycle accidents and walked away fine but it didnt even phase me i wasnt even scared that i could have been killed because in my mind i didnt care...i had a car come into my lane driving down to the beach and almost hit me and i didnt even blink. I didnt care. We recently adopted a 9 month old Boston Terrier. He is living up to his terrier name. He will constantly chase and terrorize our two cats. Any suggestions on how to keep him from doing this? My dad just died please advise?

my dad died 5 weeks ago and i can't believe he has gone. It was very quick for him and pain free as he was in a drug induced coma. I was so scared to go and see him when he was first admitted in to hospital as he was hooked up to loads of machines and has a face mask on and I selfishly stayed away because I new I would cry if I saw him, then suddenly 4 days after he had been admitted I had a need to go and see him. so hubby drove me there and I talked to him as much as I could as he was waring an oxygen mask that covered most of his face it was hard for him to talk back. he looked very well and was quite at ease considering all the machines he was hooked up to when our time was up I just touched his hand and told him to get better I couldn't look him in the eye as we left I told him I would see him soon, that night I got a call from mum telling me the Dr's were going to put him in a drug induced coma after that it all went down hill and a few days later we agreed to switch the machines off as his body wasn't healing and other organs were starting to fail. my family and I were there as he ped away I was even holding his hand and looking at his face as it happened I thought after the funeral I would feel soom closure but I don't I can't concentrate on anything my moods are swinging in all directions and if I haven;t got anything to keep my mind occupied I find myself dwelling and getting upset. my 3 year old son in always going on about how granddad Jeff has died and I have to put on a brave face for him and my other son. I am not sure how long I can keep this up. I want my Daddy back and it hurts like hell to know it never going to happen what can I do to help the pain

How does one know if the attorney they select to work an injury case honestly spends "thirty minutes writing an email," "Twenty-five minutes on the phone," or "fifty minutes researching laws pertaining to a case." These time frames are minute when compared to the fee bills presented to many clients, and I don't mean to imply that certain attorney fees are not valid either. What I want to know is who holds trial lawyers accountable for the fee tabs they present to clients who hire them? They appear to have free reign to do as they please but I hope that's not the case. The percentage rate agreed to at the time of contracting with an attorney covers nothing but the risk they are taking in accepting someone's case. Need to identify small indoor fir tree?

My uncle was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in May of 2009 and he is already at stage 6 with frequent delusions and wandering. Should I attend SUNY Geneseo or NYU?

when I was applying for grad school (public health) I saw the power of what a good diploma is worth. Me and my ex-girlfriend were applying to essentially the same grad schools. She had a biology degree (which is way closer to what an MPH wants than my degree) from Providence, and I had an economics degree from the University of Michigan. My GPA was only slightly higher than hers, the difference is negligible. I got into pretty much everywhere that I applied, she didn't even get an interview from most schools. (In fact Ohio State somehow managed to schedule my interview before they even officially received my application, to this day I don't know how they did it, the system must have notified them that I submitted an application and they didn't even wait for it, they sent me an e-mail the next day to get me on the schedule) There's the difference for you, Michigan vs. Providence diploma... I know it may not look like it now but a good education will carry you a long way in life. Think about the alumni network that NYU will give you after you graduate. You will be in a much better place, with much better people, and that degree will actually be worth something. At least this way you'll be getting something in return for your $$, the $25k that you'll spend at SUNY is money literally thrown away...

me and my husband live in a duplex and we live up stairs on the top half. They have this place split to where the basement is cut in half and the neighbors have half and we have half. There is this guy, Nate, in my cl who is pretty popular. He is friends with this girl named Brianna who I have never liked. MY CATS THROWING UP!! && i dont know why!?

My cat (Male, 3 years and 4 months) throws up his food, It's not watery or anything...Its still in the shape of his food! Just larger like it soaked up a lot of water...I'm not sure why...I don't remember when he's started doing this, but before we would feed him either Purina or IAMS, I think maybe both, now he eats Meow Mix, my other cat eats the same food but I've never seen her throw up. They've never had hair either. Could It just be the food? He's very active and is always chasing the other cat around the house, playing with us, sleeping around and being lazy like usually...We rarely ever feed them human food but I've never found any in their food. Also, afterwards he eats it up again if we don't clean it up in time. If it were up to me I would go with the Kicker ZX750. When it comes to brands the name definitely matters, brands like Fosgate, Kicker, JL, Alpine cost more for the simple fact that they are built better, last longer, and of all things they will put out the true wattage of the product. If the amp says it is 750 watts RMS it is going to be that much. Cheap brands say they have more watts then they actually do, its what they do to sell there product. I dont know much about fusion products so Im not saying that amp wont make your subs hit but you can be sure that the amp is putting out that amount of true watts. Witnessed a freeway accident (I was no where near involved) so I called 911 and waited to give my statement. It was a chaotic scene - lots of cars stopped to help so I thought there would be many witnesses. Turns out, I was the only witness and I believe that's why the person who caused the accident is now blaming me claiming I was closer than what I was which is impossible or he would have hit me also. Mouth blisters - what are they?

I had an ingrown toe nail so I went to the doctors and he gave me some anti-biotics but last time I was put on anti-biotics for my tonsillitus I came up in a rash from head to toe and found out I was allergic to penicillin. About 2 weeks into taking the anti-biotics I started to get pain in my lip, I ate a packet of monster munch crisps that the doctor said started it off and inflamed the little blisters. I'm in excruitating pain! I can't eat because my gum is rubbing on my teeth :( and the doctor didnt know what it could be he suggested thrush but i searched up thrush and it looks nothing like thrush, it looks more like canker sores? do anyone know how to get rid of these?

I'm surprised the doctor or radiologist didn't decipher this for you. I am not a medical professional, but from what I can tell, there are slight disc bulges in L3-L5. (Each vertebra is given a number according to its position in the spinal column. The disc bulges appear to be on the left side. There is some slight asymmetry, (meaning unevenness) on the right on both sides in the rear of the spine, with scar tissue that creates mild narrowing, and some degenerative changes to the end plates which are beside the discs. The recommendation is that it should be given attention. However, your doctor can give you a more complete description in layman's terms, so please don't hesitate to ask him or her. You have a right to know exactly what the diagnosis is. Good luck!

Addiction to cocodamol ...?

I have been addicted to cocodamol for about 3 - 4 years now, the 8/500 ones and about 4-12 a day. The trouble is I am now 34 weeks pregnant and last week my mother really made it hit home at the dangers of taking them, so around 3 days ago i just totally stopped taking them as I am absolutely terrified about the baby being born with withdrawel symptoms, I even went to my GP and explained to her about it. She said if i stop now the baby will not be born with any withdrawel symptoms. I was/am also worried about my baby being taken off me. I just cant get rid of the guilty feeling and just wondering if anyone else experienced anything similair? I am currently feeling really sore, tired, very teary and all together just not very nice.

The teacher did not clearly define if the 2000 words had to be the total count for the whole entire paper including the annotated bibliography, works cited, ect. It looks good but isn't necessary to work in nursing home. What you do need is a CNA license. Certified Nursing istant. All of your other skills are very informative for work that you would seek elsewhere. Although you are trying to impress a future employer and have good meaningful information. It shows you are intelligent and willingness to learn. I am sure you will be hired easily. Most health care facilities will offer the CNA training. Those ppl are still eating, or @ least drinking. Cleansing diets are healthy but u HAVE 2 do it right, otherwise it isn't. There are certain things they want u 2 drink, and apples are good for you so that couldn't have been 2 bad. But the reality is, sure it will help u, but when u are starving urself ur body knows wats happening, so when u do start eating u'll pack on the wait like there's no 2morro b-cuz ur body thinks it won't b getting anymore food. I am a single 36 year old single woman. My father is what I would call overbearing, but recently I read a book called emotional . I think I could be dealing with something more than overbearing. My father was always over my shoulder, telling me what to do and how to live. He is still this way because I have never been able to put up my own walls and have my own personality. I love my father, but I am ready to admit that he has caused major problems for me. I am single, and he is the reason why. He has pushed every man out of my life, and every man I have been with cannot deal with his intruding behavior. It was only recently (my 36th BD) where I finally realized that he has caused so much damage for me. I have lost love and relationships and I am starting to blame him for it. I worked at my local park and rec day care lab for 18 months and could not tell my father because of the disappointment he would have for what he calls “wasting my talent” (I have a degree in education and he feels like I should be at a university not a day care) and the feeling of keeping this secret from him caused me so much pain and stress. When he finally heard what I was doing (via my brother), he got me to quit the Lab job and gave me money to live off of until I could get a job that he felt was good for me. I know I am at fault for letting him be in control of so much of life, but I am now looking to make a change. Turning 36 last week was a real eye opener and recently hearing that the EX my dad pushed away is getting married, has really made me mad at my father. The loss of my mother 2 years ago has only made him worse (he gave me her platinum wedding ring band and calls me just to make sure I am wearing it and have not lost it “because it is so valuable”) and I am not sure if what I am dealing with is simply an overbearing father with a weak daughter, or this term I am learning more about called emotional . Any help or advice would really help. Anyone that has successfully handled and repaired something like this?

I was involved in an accident Feb 13. The other driver was completely at fault, as established by everyone's eye-witness accounts and his own admission. My leg was destroyed and he had the state minimum insurance coverage (15,000). I had full coverage plus the underinsured/uninsured motorist (another $15,000). his ins. co. offered me the max to settle. We got a lawyer instead. My question is, say we settle or are awarded a large sum of money and he has no more insurance or other ets. Where does the money come from?

Should 'healthiness' become a Law for everyone?

I think that the government will have to make the biggest change by cutting down on all the fatty, salty, unhealthy foods on the market today. I have to scan through supermarkets for HOURS on end, just to find the healthier alternatives to white bread and rice and pasta etc, and the healthier options taste just as good (or BETTER) then the unhealthy foods. People need a bigger education on food and diet.
