I am having some problems with son's school, need information on home schooling..?

I am having issues with my son's school. He is in a special education program for emotional disturbance. He has to testify in a trial within the next month & it is linked to his e.d. He has been having some issues with anxiety & things at school. The school is wanting to place him in an alternative school punishing him for something he is trying to learn to cope with. I want to see about home schooling him maybe online or something. Can anyone help point me in the right direction?
