Why is this about fertility and pregnancy?

The first IVF baby wasn't born until 1978. IVF was like any other new kind of technology. It wasn't available for many people, and it was very expensive (well, it still is!). I don't think more people are suffering from infertility than in the past. I think it is just more acceptable to talk about reproduction now than it was before. There are many, many reasons why people can't have children, both male and female.
