NTVDM.EXE isn't working, so I can't play Chasm: The Rift on Windows XP. What should I do?

Anyways, I installed it on XP with DOS Install option, and it works fine until the after the first Cut Scene. Then it exits telling me about how something NTVDM.EXE isn't working. Any ansewrs?
