Would you rather die suddenly with or without knowing that you will die suddenly?

Most people say they'd rather die a quick death rather than slow and painful. If it was quick, would you rather know it was coming or no? (just for an example to explain, would you rather be shot and dead out of the blue, alive one second, dead the next.or have somebody tell you that they're going to shoot you, giving you time to rethink your life and about dying, etc.) which would you rather have happen and why
