What amp should I use to power my two Alpine Type-r subs?

If it were up to me I would go with the Kicker ZX750. When it comes to brands the name definitely matters, brands like Fosgate, Kicker, JL, Alpine cost more for the simple fact that they are built better, last longer, and of all things they will put out the true wattage of the product. If the amp says it is 750 watts RMS it is going to be that much. Cheap brands say they have more watts then they actually do, its what they do to sell there product. I dont know much about fusion products so Im not saying that amp wont make your subs hit but you can be sure that the amp is putting out that amount of true watts. If you can get a cheap 3000watt amp for the same price as a 750 watt name brand amp it makes me wonder why is it so cheap. Hope I helped you out some.
